Ji Weon Ryu

Admired for her “pure poetry”, (NFA Chronicle), Ji Weon Ryu has been the Principal Flute of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra since 2019 and is the first Asian Wind Principal in their history. She has also held the position of Principal Flute with the Albany Symphony Orchestra, the Britt Festival Orchestra, and the Seoul Arts Center Festival Orchestra, and participated in numerous international festivals including the Verbier Festival and the Tanglewood Music Center. A frequent performer with the New York Philharmonic, she has appeared with the Chautauqua,Princeton, and Syracuse Symphonies, and has performed as a soloist with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Her recordings as Principal Flute include many contemporary works with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, winning the 2024 Grammy Awards for Best Regional Roots. In the academic year 2022-2023, Ji Weon served as a Flute Instructor at Louisiana State University.

Anna Vinnitsky

Dr. Vinnitsky, a pianist renowned for her eloquence and versatility, has forged a multifaceted career as a sought-after soloist, chamber musician, educator, and composer. With a robust performance calendar spanning the United States, Israel, and Western Europe. 

In addition to her remarkable achievements as a pianist, Anna is a dedicated educator. She currently serves as an adjunct faculty at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, holds a teaching position at The Seven Hills School in Cincinnati, and has been a guest lecturer at universities nationwide. 

As a composer, Dr. Vinnitsky has garnered acclaim with commissioned works for esteemed institutions such as the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and the Stanford Symphony Orchestra. Her solo and chamber music compositions, embraced by renowned performers, resonate widely across the musical landscape. 

Anna’s highly anticipated Klezmer Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra premiered in March 2024 at the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati, receiving widespread praise and acclaim. 

As a highly sought-after collaborative artist, she has shared the stage with world-renowned musicians such as clarinetist David Shifrin, violinist Ilya Kaler, oboist Philippe Tondre, and cellist Eileen Moon, to name a few. Anna is also a cherished member of numerous music festivals.

Christopher Pell

Christopher Pell is the Principal Clarinetist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Second Clarinetist of The Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, and the former Principal Clarinetist of The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Christopher has performed as Principal Clarinetist with The Toronto Symphony, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, The Knights, The Orquesta Sinfónica de Minería (Mexico City), The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, second clarinet with The Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra, and a variety of positions with The American Ballet Theatre. He appeared as a soloist with The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, The Park Avenue Chamber Symphony, The U.S. Army Band at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fischer Hall, and The Long Island Sound Symphony. He has also won first prize in the Vandoren Emerging Artists Competition. As a chamber musician, Christopher has performed with the Linton Chamber Music Series, the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival, Twickenham Fest, The Orlando Chamber Soloists, the Luzerne Chamber Music Festival, NOLA 360, and the Lake George Music Festival. Christopher teaches at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music, has taught at the Interlochen Arts Camp and the University of New Orleans. Christopher graduated from The Juilliard School in 2013 and has twice been a fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center. Christopher is a Buffet Crampon artist and a Vandoren artist.
